The Footsoldier has always been the standard warrior on all continents and countries.  The Footsoldier always has been the military's prime weapon on keep a country safe or raiding one.  Whole armies are made from this type of soldier. They received the name "Footsoldier", because they were not aloud to ride horses (only officers rode horses) and they always fought on the ground.
